Controls

Controls are simple. Click far away from your shrimp to move, click on an enemy to attack(or just close by your shrimp).

Some shrimp have special attacks that can be activated with 1 and 2 on the keyboard, or the 1 and 2 buttons in the corners of a touchscreen

All shrimps have 10 life

Defense reduces incoming damage by 1/Total Def. You can also think of it as each point of defense being worth 10 life.

The Glorious Shrimpublic

The Shrimpublic has stood as a beacon of freedom and equality for all Shrimpkind since the historical era of about 35 years ago. President Shrimpopadopolous is currently serving his third term after an landslide victory against runner-up Crabs McKenzie. Political analysts theorize Shrimpopadopolous' popularity was due to his expert command during the capitol crab invasion and the fact that his opponent was the leader of said invasion.

The Grand Shrimpire

The Shrimpire is an ancient matriarchal monarchy dating back to the ancient times of about 35 years ago. Led by the mysterious Shrimpress who has not been seen in public since her coronation, the Shrimpire has been slowly conquering neighboring lands but has never been able to defeat the Shrimpublic's legendary naval forces.

Rictor Mortis

The former champion of the BattleShrimp League Cocktail Cup Rictor is a solid, basic fighter. While he doesn't excel at any field, he also doesn't have any huge weaknesses.

Specials

Shockwave(1): Stuns all shrimp near Rictor for 2 seconds and deals 3 damage to them. (5 second cooldown)

Big Crimson

What Big Crimson lacks in defense, he makes up for in speed and attack. He can do big damage with hit and run attacks, or take the hits and get revenge with his self destruct.

Specials

Martyrdom(passive): When Big Crimson dies, he explodes and deals 4 damage to all the shrimps around him

Bumpsy

Bumpsy is a BattleShrimp Tournament superfan. She's been to every one of Rictor's matches and may be a little too attached...

Specials

Bump(passive): If bumpsy bumps into another shrimp at full speed, they'll take 1/2 a point of damage and get knocked away.

The Grandguard

Captain of the Royal Guard for the Queen of Shrimps. Does medium damage, but her shield lets her survive the toughest battles.

Specials

Royal Guard(passive): Grandguard is immune to status effects like stun and poison while her shield is up.

Shield(passive):Grandguard's shield absorbs all damage until it's broken. Even if she takes 10 damage with 1 point of shield left. The shield also reduces special damage by 30% and knockback by 50%

Shield Charge(passive): The shield will recharge 1 point per second if Grandguard is not hit for 2 seconds. If the shield is broken, it takes 4 seconds to start charging

Brunt the Terrible

Brunt is a heavy hitter, with average defense and speed. He comes the icy waters of the Sea of Okhotsk, and is a bit of a hermit and doomsday prepper. Opponents should watch out for his spiky shell

Specials

Spike Trap(Passive): Any shrimp that hits Brunt with a normal attack will get hurt for 10% of what they dish out

Rock-Out Randal

Special:1

As one of the strongest attackers, Randal knows how to rock. Unfortunately, he's too slow to roll. He can't rush in to the action, but if he does his enemies better watch out. His skill and dexterity as the lead guitar player in the experimental prog-rock band Dendrobranchiata also give him advanced melee fighting technique.

Rock-Out(passive): If you time your normal attack fast enough after getting hit, it will negate the damage.

Samantha

Lt. Samantha is a ranged attack powerhouse. She brings her experience and ordinance from her time in the Grand Shrimp Navy 4th Artillery Battalion("Screaming Prawns") She has no normal attack, and instead shoots a slow moving bubble shot that hits for 2 damage(counts as special damage). Fill the screen with them and turn the ocean into a minefield!

Specials

Bubble Barrage(1): Samantha unleashes a barrage of 8 explosive bubbles. A direct hit causes 5 damage and any shrimp caught in the explosion takes 3 damage. Be careful though, Samantha can't move while firing. (Cooldown 10)

Jeepers

Jeepers was a freelance stage magician living in the Shrimpire until The Granguard saw his abilities in action and recruited him for the Imperial Special Forces. Little did he know what bizarre experiments the Shrimpire had planned for him...

Specials

Live for the Swarm: Jeepers creates 20 autonomous clones with the same stats as his. These clones self destruct after 20 seconds (20 second cooldown)

Subtle Blow(passive): Shrimps that are hit by Jeepers will not get the usual 1 second invulnerability period, watch out for damage from the swarm stacking up!

Zippy Smalls

Zippy is taking a break from rap battles to try his claw at real battles. He's a small shrimp but he can do serious damage. He can't take much, though, so he has to use his superior speed to avoid hits

Turbo Booster(1): Zippy doubles his speed for 3 seconds, no shrimp can catch him at turbo speed(Cooldown 10)

Donny "The Dome" Richardson

After the Shrimpire conquered his hometown Carideaville, Donny turned to crime to make ends meet. Before he knew it, he was the godfather of a seabed mafia. He can survive a lot of damage, and serve up good damge in return. Never doubt The Dome

Never Doubt The Dome(passive): Donny will survive a fatal attack with 1 life remaining. Be careful, this only works once

Notorious Z.I.P.

Zippy's big brother is Notorious for his solid all around stats. Not quite as fast as Zippy, but has more defense to protect him.

Ramming Speed(1): Z.I.P. dashes forward for 2 seconds at double speed. If he rams into any shrimp along the way, he'll deal 5 damage and send them flying. Be careful where you aim, though, once you start you can't stop

One Shot Johnny

Hit hard; Hit fast; Get out. That's Johnny's motto. He got his nickname from his work as Donny's chief enforcer. No one dares cross The Dome Mafia when they know One Shot Johnny will be hunting them down.

One Shot(passive): Johnny instantly dies from any damage

One Kill(passive): Johnny always deals fatal damage. Watch out for other shrimps' defensive abilities, though

Crispy Bispy

Crispy isn't the smartest, but she's mostly harmless so people still put up with her. Due to some kind of cosmic radiation, her shell is made of delicious fried breadcrumbs.

Specials

Shed Skin(1): Crispy drops her shell, loses half her remaining health, and drops her defense to 1. Any teammates near the shell with recover 1/2 health per second.(15 second cooldown)

Templaticus Defaulto

A mass produced clone that the Shrimpire uses as shock troopers in its army. Really kind of terrible. Don't choose him, he's not even supposed to be playable

Ether Rex

The mysterious Ether Rex comes from the deepest, darkest reaches of the ocean. He has no allegience to the petty hierarchies of shrimp governments. He's weak and slow, but makes up for it with powerful special attacks.

Specials

Phase Shift(passive): Rex is partially invisible, the amount of invisibility will change randomly over time

Dimensional Overdrive(1): Rex can slip through the 5th dimension and teleport all the way to the last location you clicked to move(Cooldown 3)

Biotoxin Blast(2): Rex releases a cloud of biotoxin that poisons and stuns every shrimp near him for 3 seconds. It will also break The Grandguard's shield in one hit. Poison deals 5 damage over that time(Cooldown 8)

Lingering Feelers(passive): Rex deals 5x damage to enemies that are stunned.
